What better way to kick off a Sunday than blast out of town on a clear day. This month, Grand Finale’ latest Drivers Day brought together friends and owners alike with their mix of classic and modern collectables.
As dawn broke over Sydney, a line of chrome, carbon fibre, and classic design assembled beneath the iconic Harbour Bridge. Engines burbled in harmony, from the throaty growl of V12 Ferrari’s to the sharp bark of Stuttgart flat-sixes, and through these classic and modern marvels created their very own vapour mist on a cold morning like a scene from a Hollywood
We love Driver’s Day because it brings us all together—classic cars, great conversations, and a community built on shared passion.

Setting off with purpose, the GF convoy weaved its way out of the city, heading north along the motorway toward the fabled Old Pacific Highway. Known for its sweeping bends and lush scenery, this stretch of tarmac was made for moments like this. Driver, machine, and the road ahead.
With the modern fleet setting the pace and the classics bringing up the rear in style, each curve, bend and straight was met with equal parts anticipation and enjoyment.
By the time the convoy reached Mt. White and pulled in to the Saddles car park, it looked like a Concours d’Elegance had gate-crashed breakfast. The Ferraris and Porsches drew the crowd, even with interest from the two-wheeled Lycra set.
Inside over the baked eggs and espresso by the open fire, stories of spirited drives were shared, restoration projects swapped and everyone’s version of the never ending hunt for that “special one that got away”.
The GF community is very much like its cars. Driven by passion and built on detail.
The run up to Saddles wasn’t a race (officially), but it was a reminder that driving isn’t just about getting from A to B — it’s about who you meet, what you drive, and how good the coffee is at the halfway mark.
As we returned to our cars to make our way home, one thing was clear: there are few better ways to spend a Sunday than behind the wheel, surrounded by great cars, new mates and conversations to last a lifetime.
